Photo Tour from Tamarindo Beach

| San Juanillo Estates is located one hour south of Tamarindo on roads that are being paved in 2009. One and a quarter to one and a half acre estate lots located near the recently cut private road at the top of this photo have ocean views. Half acre lots on the public road at the bottom of the photo have mountain views. |

| We are taking you on an aerial tour from Tamarindo to San Juanillo (driving time one hour) and back. Due to road improvements, this driving time will get shorter in the near future. We start from Tamarindo at the top of the photo off to the right, south to San Juanillo, on the main road at the bottom of the photo, to a town named 27th of April. Driving time 10 minutes. This road should be paved this year. |

This photo shows the road from 27th of April to Playa Avellanas. This is a very wide road that easily could be four lanes. It now has smooth gravel and soon will be asphalt. It will be better than the road from Liberia to Tamarindo. |

| Immediately to the west of the turn off we can see a large ranch just before Playa Avellanas. Local Costa Ricans say that this ranch is owned by a Very Important Person, perhaps explaining the excellent road. |

| Just south of The Sanctuary is San Juanillo Estates. Total driving time today is one hour. This time will shorten substantially because of current road construction and a planned coastal highway south to Samara and Nosara. |
